Camping Memorial Day Weekend

We took the kids camping on our property over Memorial Day weekend. It was so cold that we ended up sleeping in the house! We had hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, fruit salad, smores and more. The kids each did a skit/act and it was fun. Harley told a story of the Ghost with the Bloody Finger, Emma and Gabby tried to tell a scary story. It was alot of fun and we can't wait to go again. Adeline is standing near the river. It sure is pretty here! (click on picture to see it better).

We had a nasty storm go thru today. Left some damage. But we and the animals are all okay. It blew out a window in the garage too. Here are some pics (click on the pics to see them better)

Turkey and Chicks

We now have 10 broilers and 20 turkeys. They arrived on May 13th. We kept them in the house for a week and are now in the barn under their heat lamp. We lost 2 so far. They are cute and noisy! :)

Adeline's Baptism

Adeline's Baptism by her brother David. April 13th 2008 Blue Water Ward. Really wonderful day!

The program was short and sweet. Miranda gave a talk. Tom (daddy) did the confirmation. We came home after and had meatballs, fruit salad, fruit roll-up, mini pops, ham rolls. The food was all Adeline's choice of her favorite foods. Ellen is Adeline's bbf. Dwayne Beem is our home teacher and Linda and I serve in Primary together. They are very good friends to us.

Newest Additions to our Farm

We have added pigs to our farm. They are really fun and loud! :) These are feeder pigs and will be ready for market in August. We are all very excited about the newest additions to our farm.
